A Magical Cafe Designed by The Filmmaker Wes Anderson Just Opened in Milan, Italy #Wanderlust
The Fondazione Prada is cultural institution in Milan, Italy with over 20 years of commitment to ideas, and “the ways in which mankind has transformed ideas into specific disciplines and cultural products: literature, cinema, music, philosophy, art and science.”
Nestled in the vast 215,000² ft. venue lies Bar Luce–a cafe designed by filmmaker Wes Anderson. The cafe, for lack of a better term, is very Wes Anderson–featuring sleek mid-century modern lines, beautiful pastel colors, and an 1950’s vibe that’s magical.
Bar Luce is today’s #Wanderlust pick because, well, Paolo Ferrarini described it best: “The only detail that proves guests haven’t entirely stepped back in time is the placement of USB ports—a very useful addition—making the kitschy bar a perfect place for those suffering art fatigue to refuel and recharge.”
What is #Wanderlust?
Every Friday, when our wick has been burnt down to its end, the folks at The Creative Ham suffer from wanderlust. Don’t you? Like most agency folk, we crave for creative getaways and far off lands; it’s our nature. Join us every Friday for #Wanderlust – a feature on a creative or adventurous place that fills the need (or perhaps, evokes the need) of Wanderlust.
