Grey London Highlights the Real Heroes of the 2016 Rio Olympics

The 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro was full of amazing feats, like all Olympic Games are, but maybe nothing was more impressive than the will and determination of the people on the first-ever refugee Olympic team. Knowing full-well the significance of this Olympic first, Grey London and The United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) worked with Just So to film a documentary highlighting their very unique road to the Olympics.

“Champions Against All Odds” is a 90-second spot here to remind all of us of the refugee conflict and that refugees are people—athletes—just like everyone else, trying to realize a dream. The refugee Olympic team has 10 members from Ethiopia, Syria, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and South Sudan. The spot is part of a full documentary that calls for more aid for refugees around the world.
