RFP: New Design Sought for College TailGames & GameDay Events

college tailgames logoCompany Overview: GameDay Events LLC is the parent company of Pro TailGames and College TailGames. GameDay Events produces interactive fan activations at Home, when the Game is Away. Pro & College TailGames is the ultimate away-game tailgate and live game festival. Our game day festivals are social, fun, and provide the perfect atmosphere for fans to cheer on their beloved teams even when they are playing away. GameDay Events LLC is a highly specialized event and marketing company focused on delivering the best and most authentic festival experience to the tried and true fan. Our experienced team provides everything, and our GameDay events can’t be beat.
 
Project Description: GameDay Events LLC is in need of three Logos that reflect the DNA of the overall parent company and our associated brands. We are looking for a unified aesthetic that can easily distinguish the GameDay properties from one another but still resonate the same ethos of Fun, Fandome and Community engagement. Since GameDay Events produces events across most colligate and professional sports we are looking to not be pigeon holed into representing one sport of giving off the feeling like one athletic endeavor is more important than the other, however is it of the utmost importance that the viewer of the logos gets the feeling of action and sports.

Current Logo
In short we are looking for Logos that make it easily distinguishable between the brands yet are of the same feeling and DNA. It should be an eye-catching visual that is versatile and can function in a variety of sizes and formats. The concepts that this visual may evoke includes; Athletics, Team and Alma Mater, Super-fandome, Weekend Warriors, Vitality, Trust, Grass-roots, Fun and Community. The logos will be used by clients on all their messaging, corporate collateral, websites, promotional material and packaging. It will be also be used on other marketing materials and social media

How the Logos will be used and where they will appear:
Print Media and all Corporate communications
Facebook/Twitter/Instagram
Websites
Signage and event banners (Metal, Fabric, Vinyl)
Advertising and Corporate Communications

Budget: Proposals can be submitted with a flat fee or with hourly rate but the total must not exceed Fifteen Hundred Dollars ($1,500USD) inclusive of taxes.

3.Timeline:
Designer (vendor) must be willing to have some back and forth with the GameDay Events LLC Board members in the development of the final design
Project Completion is expected by February 25th 2015. A timeline for deliverables will be worked out in a contract with selected vendor

4. Application Submission
Proposals must include
Three examples of previous logo design work
One corporate reference
Portfolio or resume demonstrating capacity (software,hardware, philosophy) for producing logos for our audience
Budget with line items for project stages

Proposals must be submitted to [email protected] through Friday January 30th 2015

5. Evaluation Process

GameDay Events LLC is using a competitive process to select the source of this service. GameDay Events LLC reserves the right to reject any and all proposals received in response to the RFP and is not liable for any costs incurred by contractors. An ad-hoc committee appointed by GameDay Events LLC will review the proposals. This committee or a staff person selected by this committee may meet with an applicant vendor to discuss proposal.

GameDay Events LLC plans to select a vendor by February 3rd 2015. If GameDay Events LLC decides that more time is needed to accept and review additional proposals, we will communicate that information to vendors who have already submitted a proposal.

This project will be awarded upon signing of a contract, which includes the terms, scope, budget, payment schedule, project completion date and other necessary items.

The vendor will be considered an independent contractor and not an employee. The selected vendor may NOT subcontract this project.
