In the spirit of summer and topless Cannes beaches, today’s #throwback features this gem from 2013 by DDB Italy. The Ham’s Take Before Blurred Lines made virtually no money, DDB Italy was nothing but cash on this ad, proving that simplicity is powerful. Advertising Agency: DDB, Milan, Italy Executive Creative Director: Aurelio Tortelli Creative Directors:
Client Litago: “We need a new flavor of milk and would like to create a UGC campaign to decide which flavor the consumers want added to our line-up.” DIST Creative Team: (exhales smoke) “How about we let the cows decide instead?” (cough, cough) And that’s how we imagine the genius of this Norwegian campaign
This week’s #ThrowbackThursday features an outdoor piece from Y&R Amsterdam for their client Interbest Outdoor, circa 2011. The Ham’s take? Yummy. Art Director Marq Strooy, simply nailed it. The simple copy from Robin Zuiderveld paired with the photography by Morad Bouchakour led straight into a successful billboard sale that even incorporated the Interbest’s campaign.
Creative Director Pierette Diaz and Art Director Eric Esculier for Y&R Paris wins today’s featured ad. A beautiful piece for Keloptic.com. This piece has been circulating for a few months, but hasn’t quite made it’s way to you Hams. Well done Y&R Paris. Well done.
